Web graphic Design, printing materials
Project Overview
I was approached by a mechanic in need of a website and printed materials for his business. He provided a logo and specified a black Dodge Challenger as the main element for the Home Page.
My Inspiration
I began with the car, decided to add some color as an all-black mobile felt too stark for the page. I colored it to my liking, opting for a version with blue elements, which I presented to the customer. Fortunately, he loved it, particularly the blue rims and blinking lights sold him on the whole blue idea ;).

About the project
Web graphic design
2012
I distinctly remember being somewhat obsessed with textures and a 3D feel in web design at the time, and these elements are clearly visible in the project. I incorporated numerous layers, with some elements sticking out in the foreground while others receded into the background. The inspiration for the design came from asphalt, which I created and placed under the Dodge. This resulted in a grey texture for the background of the pages and almost black asphalt in the footer.

Metal was an obvious choice for the mechanic garage, and I incorporated various logos of different brands as a background behind the Dodge. The garage's logo is carved into the metal, and the menu also carries a metallic aesthetic. At this point, I'm uncertain whether the menu should be positioned in a hole in the background with a blue light under the active page or if these are simply metallic buttons. The optical illusion suggests that both options are viable. The overall design was intended to have a futuristic feel—please don't judge me!

The printing materials
2012
After completing the website, I collaborated with the customer to design a billboard, a business card, and an A6 leaflet. While the leaflet drew 100% inspiration from the website, the other printed materials, especially the billboard, required a very simple style. Transitioning from Photoshop to Illustrator for vectors and then to InDesign for print preparation. I followed the customer's advice to minimize graphics on the billboard to reduce printing costs, ensuring the prominent presence of the Dodge as a key element.
